Well, as you know Marc McKee has a new book out, the first in an amazing artist series compiled by enjoi’s own Winston Tseng. Needless to say and as you guessed if you’ve been following the blog, Memory Screened couldn’t let this go unnoticed. Is that too much? I feel I kinda went all-out with the bunch of updates celebrating the event.
First off, below you’ll find the interview I did with Marc and Sean Cliver for Skateboarder in 2009, only this time it’s in its unedited, full-length glory (wear glasses. It’s long).
Incidentally, I’m glad to announce that Memory Screened is now the official host of all the 1989-1992 World Industries catalogs Marc dug up and once posted on the company’s site before they got removed –a hefty dose of Rocco Empire-related board porn and ’90s boners. It’s right above, just click on the “World Industries catalogs 1989-92″ menu thing. Duh.
Lastly but not leastly, Marc went out of his way and designed that tasty custom header, just ’cause…
By the way, the killer McKee retrospective is still up at the HVW8 gallery in LA, until April 10th…
For those of you that happen to be in Milan on April 13th there is the McKee show at the bastard store
